Hi All,
Flash had a bad day on the water on Sunday, no fish and not much of a day but it got worse when he got back to the ramp.
His car had the window smashed and some gear taken , he reported it to Wynnum police and noted they had taken his service book. When he arrived home the shed light was on and the door was open and on investigation his shed and home had been rolled as well.
The service book had all his info and you can guess the rest, :(if there is no one at home soon after the break in of the car then there is a good chance they will have all day to get what they like . This may be a one off but I doubt it, if it worked once they will do it again so be warned don't leave anything that will lead them home especially house keys, if they let themselves in the insurance company will find a loophole if they can .

Very sorry to hear Bob.  Thieving mongrel lowlife #%@$&’s.  Just as well I am not a policeman (or politician), thieves used to get a good ‘going over’, or their arms chopped off once upon a time...now they get a slap on the wrist (and that’s if they are caught).   

I think a post on Ausfish may be helpful to canvas any other Manly boat ramp users that might have seen something suspicious – due to the very high number of users on that site.  Would definitely be helpful in alerting others to be aware, and maybe may lead to a capture one day (hopefully) if people are more alert etc.
